1. Picasso Berber: a joyful patchwork of saffron, brick red, olive green, black, plum, and orange panels with raised motifs you can feel, inside a cream border dotted with small diamonds.
2. Akhnif Berber: soft cream wool scattered with raised blossoms of coral, black, and saffron, framed by a thick burgundy-and-grey border.
3. Mosaic Berber: six panels in terracotta, red, burgundy, and charcoal, each embroidered with its own Amazigh symbol and framed by raised, plush borders of black, cream, orange, and red blocks.



— WOVEN BY THE WOMEN OF THE ATLAS MOUNTAINS —
These rugs come from the Taznakht region, where the High Atlas meets Djebel Siroua in southern Morocco, one of North Africa‘s most respected rug-weaving centers. Here, weaving passes from grandmother to mother to daughter. Many of these women never learned to read or write; their rugs became their written language, carrying the symbols and rhythm of Amazigh (Berber) art.

• One of a kind. Small irregularities in line and color are the mark of the hand, not flaws.

— THE MEANING IN THE MOTIFS
Taznakht weavers use diamonds, crosses, chevrons, and X shapes: symbols so old that similar marks appear in prehistoric rock art. In the region, some still see wool as a gift from heaven that brings luck and abundance.

— READY TO HANG IN 4 EASY STEPS —
1. Mark & drill: mark two level points on the wall, just wider than the rug and narrower than the dowel. Drill a hole at each mark and tap in the wall anchors.
2. Screw in the hangers: open the snap and drive a screw through the eyelet of each leather strap into the anchor.
3. Place the dowel: rest each end of the dowel, with the rug already on it, in the open straps, outside the rug‘s edges.
4. Snap closed: wrap each strap around the dowel and press the snap shut. The screws stay hidden, and your rug is ready to display.

• Shake out or vacuum gently (no beater bar); spot clean with cold water
• Comb the cotton fringe gently with your fingers to keep it straight
